I rented a 20’ truck with appliance straps and dollies Saturday from the Uniontown, PA location on 40. The truck wasn’t there. I cancelled and rebooked for Roscoe, PA and got dropped off in in an empty lot. No trucks. No truck. Nobody there. I was stranded there for nearly three hours out in the sun while I had a gas emergency at my house. I was moving in and had to call off people I had arranged to pay to help. So, I had to spend every night last week moving carloads to a house across town. The people who were going to help me refused to rely on you, either. It has cost me so much money because my belongings boxed up for an extra week. Food, clothes, appliances, inaccessible for a week instead of a day. Going to a laundromat because I can’t hook up my washing machine because you say you rent appliance straps. Going out to eat with wife annd two kids every night because I can’t get to my pots and pans. Horrible experience. Missed work because I went on 4 hours sleep for the week, up driving back and forth every night. And last night. And tonight. Stress, illness, missing work, Uhaul. The people who I rented from eventually were nice, apologetic and tried to offer me deals because your service is like this now. C’mon U-haul.
