To be clear, the car dolly I rented was fully functional and acceptable. In short, the equipment was good/excellent. However, the customer service was poor. When I requested confirmation of how my driver's licence photo would be handled (I was seeking some form of confirmation that the large UHaul data breach of 2 years ago had been thoroughly remedied), I was instead immediately met with sarcasm, belittlement, and snarky responses. This was grossly unprofessional. Instead of acknowledging a past well-published data breach error and taking a moment to explain how it had been resolved, the uHaul desk personnel verbally attacked me. Sadly, although the issue was mostly the older man I was dealing with directly at the counter, the older lady to is left also echoed one of his sarcastic comments and a third person, who was monitoring the exchange and was later the person who helped hooked up the trailer to my truck, never verified the lights on my rented trailer were working (I got my wife to help me do the verification). Overall, UHual continues to provide good equipment and an essential service; however, most unfortunately, the desk personnel at the Parker Street, Belleville location are abysmal.
