I would only recommend if they were moving in Belvedere. I was forced to use this location when the location i put a reservation at in a the city over from this one allowed a person to rent my truck firday and the decided they were not returning it that Saturday for my reservation. I did not get a discount on the extra miles I had to drive to get and return the vehicle vs. Only have to drive it in town. Also throughing off my timeline of moving. I had to eat the cost and time delay that it made for me. Reservation are supose to be promise so i can plan yhr help, lucky for me there was another truck, a city away opposite side of city im in and then another city.. so an about 4o ish mins there when it was a 5 min drive to my old house and 40 min plus from the new house. Vs a 12min drive from the new house. I sent in a complaint with my bill when it asked if it was correct. And it was not since I planned and you as a company failed to make sure my reservation was available.

It’s was very loud in the cab of the truck. Need some sound proofing but it ran great
Andrew HI would give Curry Automotive 0 stars if I could. I rented a 10' U-Haul from Curry Automotive in Belvidere on Wednesday, July 29. Before leaving, Tracy at the front desk was very friendly and walked outside with me to inspect the truck. She asked me to check the mileage and the fuel level. I turned the key to the "on" position (without starting the truck), and the dashboard showed a full tank. I told Tracy it appeared to be full. However, as soon as I drove away and the truck was running, I noticed the fuel gauge was actually only a little over 3/4 full. I immediately called Tracy and even texted her a photo showing the actual fuel level. She told me she would speak with Mike. When I returned the truck later that same day, I added gas so the gauge was back to the exact same level it was when I left their lot. The next day, I looked at my receipt and saw that I had been charged an additional fuel fee because the truck supposedly wasn't returned full. I contacted Tracy again, and after speaking with Mike, she told me they would not refund the charge because I had initially said the truck was full before leaving. Yes, I made an honest mistake based on what the dashboard displayed before the engine was started, but I also immediately reported the issue and sent photographic proof showing the actual fuel level. They knew exactly what happened before I even got down the road. This wasn't about the amount of money—it was about customer service and doing what is right. A business that values its customers would have recognized this was an honest mistake and honored the evidence I provided. Instead, they chose to charge me anyway. Tracy was courteous throughout the process, and I appreciate her efforts. Unfortunately, Mike's decision completely changed my opinion of this experience. Because of how this situation was handled, I cannot recommend Curry Automotive for U-Haul rentals. Customer service matters, and this experience was very disappointing. 1 star. I would give 0 stars if that were an option.
