I am writing to report a serious safety issue we experienced with one of your trucks. The right passenger-side mirror was damaged and partially broken when we received the vehicle. Unfortunately, we had to drive in heavy rain without proper mirror visibility, which made it extremely difficult to safely monitor traffic especially on the left side. This created a very dangerous driving situation. As this was our first time using U-Haul, we were quite concerned and uncomfortable throughout the trip. I do not understand how a vehicle with a known safety issue like this could be rented out without proper inspection and repair. We took videos during the drive that clearly show the condition of the mirror and the limited visibility. I would be happy to share these with you for review. This situation put us at risk, and I strongly urge U-Haul to ensure that all vehicles are thoroughly checked for safety and full functionality before being rented to customers. I look forward to your response and an explanation of how this will be addressed.

This is not their fault, but I did not get equipment at all. When I arrived they said they do not carry equipment and never have, which is something that u-haul had failed to document. So I had to scramble to make my move out of state work. They were very smooth otherwise.
