Communication & promptness issues. Rental requested was for the afternoon. After returning trailer I saw it was for the next day return (24 hr rental). Person asked for my phone # three times. Then put in wrong rental return address, had to call u haul support (which was fine btw). U haul app glitched when it asked for pics of my driver’s license and pickup pictures, which did not happen.

this was 30 minutes out of my way
Paul SThis is not about that location specifically. The UHaul itself was not a user friendly company in my experience. The insurance part is very vaguely explained in the website and although I have reserved another location, I had to drive 30kms to get the truck. Also I was charged extra.

Lily HThe lot where I was supposed to guess where to park the truck was in terrible shape. It had rained that morning and a pond had formed where the receiving agent directed me to move the truck to. I objected as I would have to walk back through ankle deep water. He told me that if I didn't move the truck to where he directed, then he would not receive/check in the truck. I was quite taken back by this and expressed my disappointment and told him I wasn't willing to walk through the pond. He told me I was being "rude". So, to avoid being charged for any additional days rental, I felt bullied into moving the truck. My blood is boiling as I recount this story to you right now. I can see U-Haul has made great strides in offering better equipment at more convenient locations but the Binbrook location might be a step in the wrong direction. As well, a paper copy of the contract/receipt should be automatic as not all of us have the necessary technology readily available.
