Excellent service. Wasn’t sure if I could get there 40 miles away before they closed, and they offered to stay later if I needed. All worked out and I got there well before closing, but was so grateful they would have even considered accommodating me. Was out of there quickly in well maintained/operating truck and trailer.

truck got great gas millage

Tino checked us in, after a long day of travel, and was very efficient and extremely helpful with the concerns we presented. We were very happy the service. I would definitely use this location again and recommend it to others.

Make all trailers availabl for one way destinations.

Have auto transports at this location! Don’t let anyone reserve an auto transport online if it doesn’t apply to that area! Customer service should call well in advance if an equipment isn’t available not one day before!!!

Inside of windshield was dirty and hard to see out of when truck was picked up. Otherwise reserved truck was ready and waiting in good shape and ready to go.

Working on the way you communicate with a customer is key. And although the trailer worked out fine, the way we were talked too was rude and needs to be improved.

Nothing.....all was great!!

Everything was great, except a strong stinking odor of cigarette & smoke was present that lasted through out the next 6 hours!! Please give a non smoking rental option!!!

Staff were helpful and quick. The location is very basic and the store (which is primarily a general/ store) quirky - but no problems.

Nothing - the folks at Allen Outdoor were very kind, professional, and helpful; couldn't have been better. Thanks.

Option to not refill gas, or at least pick up and return full.

You should have a location in Mammoth. I had to drive back 40 minutes in the opposite direction to return the truck. Also...If you're going to rent a long distance truck in this day and age, it should have "blue tooth" to connect a device to listen to music. I drove for over 2 hours with one radio station listening to High School sports scores and stats.

Mike Allen was very kind, patient, knowledgeable and respectfully. Respect goes both ways for those who have complaints.

Would be nice if the auto transport had actual trailer brakes instead of the crappy surge brakes, other wise it was just fine

I was overcharged! The total I was quoted was $247. Also wasn't given the truck requested. I spoke to your representative before and was TOLD that I was going to get same rate that was reserved. Then I was OVERCHARGED. PERIOD. NOT HAPPY AT ALL! Very dissatisfied.

The same day that I rented the truck and trailer, I returned 13 blankets (out of the original 36 that I rented) after i called the store to tell them that i didnt need all of the blankets and asked if i could save money by returning them. They said yes and told me to return the blankets for credit. I asked for a receipt and was told that he would check them in and I would be credited at the time that I returned the truck. I asked again for some sort of receipt and the young man told me that he was going to check them in right after a phone call that he was on, so I reluctantly left. Today I returned the truck and 23 blankets that I used and I was charged full price for the 36 blankets. I asked for the prorating on the blankets and was told some bull crap that it was cheaper for me to pay the full rental on all 36 blankets than to have it prorated. I kept asking for an explanation of how that could be and after more nonsense I was told that is just the way it is and he walked away. I was warned by the furniture movers (they are local to this area and know this uhaul location well) that this guy, Mike, always tries to pad on more charges, such as truck cleaning charges even though they specifically clean out to save the money. This is the same guy who didn't want to extend my contract and got mad when i called the 800 uhaul number to get it extended. I am going to see what business codes or laws are being violated by this guy and file a formal complaint. He has blatantly lied and stolen from me on this transaction. I plan to follow-up on this to the extent possible. I paid a lot of money to U-haul and believed there was a good reputation behind the name but it is clear to me that I have been ripped off and this guy looked me in the face and walked away. I will be posting this on every internet side possible and calling the state to find out who regulates this work.
