We picked up a 26' truck in Boise, we were supposed to pick it up in Twin Falls which was scheduled 30 days prior to pickup. We drove 587 miles from Post Falls to Twin Falls to pick up our household good and were called at 2:30 pm prior to let us know there was no 26' truck available. We were given the option of a 20' truck and a trailer but there wasn't enough square footage. So our only option was to drive 120 miles to Boise to pick up the truck ("because they didn't have the manpower to bring it to us"). Yes they gave us $100 off the price of the truck but it cost us $100 in gas for the UHaul truck and diesel for our truck. Oh this isn't the end...we loaded the truck and started on our trip. We drove 100 miles and got 2 flat tires, after 2 1/2 hours we were again on the road again. No this isn't the end...my husband was in front of me in the UHaul truck going uphill the truck engine died and it slowed down to 30mph and then the engine started up again. Yes...everytime we went up a steep hill the truck engine died. If you are reading this review let me say...UHaul does not guarantee your reservation even though they send you conformation, they will not bring a truck to your location and they blame it on logistics. If we had known they were so unreliable we would have picked up a Penske truck.

Actually when I picked it up they did not do a walk around with me and there was some light impacts on the fenders but later I had to take my own pictures to cover my ass do they don't try and come back on me for any damages.

I returned the 5 x 8 trailer to the above location; they did not have anyone to help me unhook the trailer, so I had to do it myself (I am a 67 year old woman.) The employee was a young gal. She was helpful in checking me out, but could not help with the unhooking. I won't use this location again.

The person on duty who took care of me was awful....he threatened me and my friend. I hope you can figure out his name as I did not get it as I was scared. I talked to the director/owner/manager his name was Phil and he was sympathetic and refunded the mistake (I PAID WHAT WAS DUE !). He made all the difference. The other people in the office were great.
