Matthew RLynn was professional and responsive every time I called. My only complaint is Uhauls methodology dealing with gas for the vehicle. Instead of U-Haul requiring all renters to return the tank full, U-Haul requires the customer to return the tank at the same level as it was when the vehicle was picked up. Trying to guess how much to put in the tank was problematic and frustrating!! when I put gas in the vehicle, I ended up putting 1/8 of a tank more than what was required. That equates to about 10 galleons of gas. At $5.50 galleon, I lost $55.00 because I overfilled the gas tank!!! What an hod damn ripoff!!! Expecting I’d get a refund, instead, Lynn said I brought it back the truck at the same level as when I picked it up. (that was not true as evidenced by the before and after pictures )! I said nothing, not wanting to create a problem, but nonetheless. I’m out over fifty bucks because U-Haul doesn’t require all clients to return the tank full!!! All you have to do is look at the pictures before and after of the gas gauge and you’ll see that I clearly put too much gas in the tank and you can see by the picture it’s by at least 1/8 of a tank. Undoubtedly, there are many customers that overfill the gas tank and loose money. For this reason I will never rent from U-Haul again and I will vnever recommend U-Haul to anyone. Change your policy back to what it was years ago!! It’s the only fair way for the customer to not feel ripped off!!!!
