CHRISTOPHER BI have rented a car hauler no less than four previous times this was the first time that I ever ran across that they had to be able to read loadcapacity on my tongue and ball and it had to be rust, free and no visible damage again I have rented a car hauler same type previously no problems they told me it had to be rated 7500 pounds tongue and ball each. I’m guessing any 2 inch ball is gonna be rated the same even if you can’t read it on the ball itself as far as a tongue goes, yeah there’s different capacities but if it’s a 2 inch ball that fits your trailer. It should automatically fit specs regardless if you can read it or not if it has scratches and rust on it so they wouldn’t rent the trailer I had to purchase it from them or go elsewhere and purchase it
