I tried the rent a truck through the app. Didn't work. Had to call customer service to get the truck. Told me to call the location to confirm. Called location. Location tells me I should have received a text or email with the information to grab the truck. Call back customer service. They tell me that I will only get the infor an hour before pick up tikr which is 6am. Get on location at 530am. The app.still doesn't work, have to call customer service again. They make me register through the website. Have to put in two contact information that will be called so that I can pick-up the truck. No one answers because it's 545am on a saturday. Got told that if people weren't picking up I coukd only get truck at 9am. Otherwise, get your lease and or passport. Found someone to pick-up the phone and get the truck. Gas almost empty. Get charged way over the amount presented on the app originally, turned out to he twice the amount. Location told me to fill it at a quarter to get a 25$ deposit back. The most ridiculous half-day of my life. Not only will I never rent a uhaul again I will meke sure to tell anyone who cares to never do that as well. Including gas, it cost me 250$ to run a shitty, old, dirty 15 footer for half a day. Calling it a scam woukdn't even render it justice. This is hugway robbery on topic of being impossible to operate through the app. I sincèrement hope they go bankruot ASAP so competitors can replace them.
