Pickup was brutal. No attendant there to help get the keys that were in a lock box but the instructions said to go to a counter but there isn’t a counter. I had to reach out to UHaul online to get help. We had to guess which lockbox and code to use, fortunately it was the first one. I ordered a hand truck and paid for it but not one in the truck. The truck was in really good condition though. Drop off had all the instructions correct so that was smoother. It shouldn’t have been this difficult.

I initially booked this online and opted for an in-person pickup. When my son got there to pickup there was noone available and he had to start the process again using the virtual reservation even though I had a confirmation number and apickup time of noon (hours posted were 10-3). Once he received access to the locker the wrong key was in the locker so he could not access the truck. He was finally able to talk to someone who resolved the issue. Overall, te in-person pickup was confusing and should not be an option if noone is going to be there to provide the keys.

Kathleen MThe dolly & pads were not with the truck, & there was barely 1/4 of a tank of gas in the truck when I picked it up. I estimated 30 miles but only drove 19 & wasn't credited the difference but instead charged for additional gas after I added gas myself. No one was available when I called, & I couldn't leave a message as the voicemail wasn't set up. Terrible customer service!
