I rented their largest U-Haul truck - 26’. When I went to pick it up, I was told that he was sorry that it couldn’t be cleaned before I took the truck. He said he wasn’t able to get to it because the truck was turned in the night before. I told him that was fine and I used the U-Haul appropriately. I was then charged a cleaning fee because it wasn’t cleaned for $25. This is unacceptable.

Picking up at this location was a breath of fresh air after previous negative experiences at the other Christiansburg UHaul location ...very helpful and efficient staff.
Brian BNo one was there dropped off the trailer, clean and empty except for the pads and they charge us a cleaning fee. That is unacceptable and unexpected a full refund. I don’t know what they have to clean because inside the trailer was furniture and there was nothing left in the trailer. Furniture is not dirty. It’s wood. It’s hard and it doesn’t let out dust or dirt.
Freddy QI had to drop the trailer off on Sunday and this location was closed. I followed their instructions, put the trailer in the right place. Yet, I was charged $22. That is so unfair. I have pictures to prove that I did everything right. I'm going to talk to a lawyer.
