I suppose to pick up the truck at 902 3rd Ave Chula Vista but when I get there the location was closed with no previous notice and the phone number on records didn’t work at all ( another 2 persons left with no truck for the same reason) so I had to call customer service and they help me out to get another truck in the closest location that was 495 telegraph Canyon rd. In this location everything was perfect customer service and everything went fast

Kornel BI had a positive experience agent by phone to confirm the day and pickup time for 6/30/26 at 9:00. When I arrived at the pick up site at 495 Telegraph Rd, Chula Vista there was no U-Haul representative to handle the transaction. After 10 minutes of waiting, the Smog tech offered to call the U-Haul representative. He said he'd be there in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later he still had not shown up. I asked the Smog tech to call again. He did and said the UHaul representative would be there in 20 minutes, finally at 9:50 your agent arrived with no apology or explanation. Needless to say I was very disappointed. Based on U-Haul not meeting their agreement on the pickup time, I would like you to offer a discount for the inconvenience. This also delayed our packers by an hour, who arrived on time. On top of that I was charged an additional $17.00 for the gas being slightly under the 3/8 mark.
