I had a positive experience agent by phone to confirm the day and pickup time for 6/30/26 at 9:00. When I arrived at the pick up site at 495 Telegraph Rd, Chula Vista there was no U-Haul representative to handle the transaction. After 10 minutes of waiting, the Smog tech offered to call the U-Haul representative. He said he'd be there in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later he still had not shown up. I asked the Smog tech to call again. He did and said the UHaul representative would be there in 20 minutes, finally at 9:50 your agent arrived with no apology or explanation. Needless to say I was very disappointed. Based on U-Haul not meeting their agreement on the pickup time, I would like you to offer a discount for the inconvenience. This also delayed our packers by an hour, who arrived on time. On top of that I was charged an additional $17.00 for the gas being slightly under the 3/8 mark.

The bag of moving blankets were ripped and one was missing.

Austin PThe location for pickup is perfect. The representatives were professional. The vehicle operated safely, and the A/C worked well. Just hoped the windshield was clean to see better (windshield fluid was empty, and wipers were degraded). It would be helpful to have a backup camera like some other companies have.
