They double charged me for fuel after I already spent money to refill thw tank and we filled it more than what was in it when we got it.

I rented an appliance dolly along with the truck. When I arrived after paying and signing all the paperwork, I was told they do not have an appliance dolly and only a standard dolly. They gave no options other than for me to try to look for one at some other location. They did nothing to resolve the issue. Then the first truck I was given only had a quarter of a tank of gas and the worker could not find the keys for it. After waiting 20 to 25 minutes, I was given keys to a different truck that was very dirty inside the cab, and in the back, along with a pile of moving blankets that were not folded. The customer service here was extremely poor and they couldn’t even provide me with an updated receipt or rental agreement for the different truck.

Liz GThey screwed up the reservation. They overcharged me for mileage, it took the gal making the reservation talking to them showing the mistake in mileage - stated they would credit it and then charged me for the error. What was supposed to be $62 became $111. This was renting a 19.99 deal truck for two hours. Less than two miles from my home and put on less than 15 miles. Lost so much time trying to fix it I just ate the cost.
Samuel BFirst of all, this location hires English as a second or third language managers and persnnel. I have no problem with foreign nationals or dual citizens unless they are extremely difficult to understand or do not take the time or be clear offering instuctions. I was not given notice to expect a link from U Haul prior to leaving the lot. By the time I discovered it, the link had expired. I was given the key and asked if I could get it out with a truck on each side and one in front, a curb behind and about 15 feet between the front truck and the 20 footer I was given. Jockeyed back and forth and made it safely but frustrated. Upon return, the guy behind the counter had never excepted a return of a U Haul and told me to just leave my copy of the agreement. U Haul should not use Mega Saver as a pick up or drop off site. When I did the online request, I had chosen a location a half mile from my house and it was changed to a location 5 miles from my house. I did not learn that until I reviewed my order tab in a followup email. At $1.29 per mile, that does make a difference! If the need arises for another rental and given the same location, I will cancel my order.
