My experience with U-Haul in the pickup of my confirmed reservation for a 1:00 p.m. truck was very frustrating. The reservation was changed three times before 1:00 p.m. The second time it was changed I was on route to pick up the truck at 12:45 when I got a text message that said it would not be there. I turned my vehicle around and went the opposite direction to the third location and called their office on my way. They told me they did not have a truck for me. I then pulled over to the side of the road and was connected to the main U-Haul office where an individual who scouts trucks found me a vehicle at yet a fourth location. This location was 12 mi round trip out of my way from the original pickup location. By the time I rented the truck it was 2:00 p.m. and my friend who was going to help me move was completely inconvenienced by the delay. Please make an effort to not overbook the trucks, as once if the U-Haul reps told me was the issue that day

Naomi MPlease keep the pickup location for both the U-Haul truck and trailer at the same location, rather than having one pickup 10 minutes away and the other 30–45 minutes away. This reservation was made a month in advance, so having everything at one location would make the process much smoother for the customer.
