Be sure to correctly secure the wire harness for a trailer at the correct height. I went to secure it up and was told not to as the length was needed for right hand turns. I should have followed my gut and secured it up. The harness went dragging on the ground and burned out. In the middle of an 800 mile trip I had to scrambled trying to find a harness long enough, which I didn’t do. I ended up using one about a foot and a half too short. Working fine I just had to be careful with the right hand turns. If it unplugged, I just put it inside and plugged it back in.
