A little more instruction on the dashboard of the van. Like where the button is to read the mileage. I would also like to say how impressed we were with the customer service at this store. I have never been disappointed with U-Haul. I really appreciate the service!

I had a little problem with returning the vehicle and the staffer at Cotati Oaks Hardware bent over backwards to solve it quickly. He was great.

Customer service 5 stars. I got a truck with the towing package but was unable to tow the trailer I drove 30 minutes to get because the truck didn't have proper electrical attachments. Waste of $100 bucks.

Service is great at Cotati Oaks Hardware. Kim and Sam are courteous, prompt, and were able to accommodate me for a spur of the moment furniture pick up. I highly recommend this location if you need to rent a U-Haul.

The gentleman who helped us was nice but didn't over look/check the truck and we did not receive any paperwork for the return.

Mud stains on mats, trash in cup holders and noticed paper items blown onto freeway upon exit were only finishing touches needing improvement to make it a perfect rental. Thank you

When booking the truck and picking up the truck there were computer problems that delayed my departure for close to an hour. The drop off location wouldn't take the truck because the lot was full. No one told me there was a 1-800 number to call to find another drop off location, so I drove it back to the pick up location. I was then charged another one hundred dollars for an "in town" instead of a "one way". This is not good customer service, and I will not use uhaul for my next move.

The Cotati location was fine but I was actually very upset because my reservation was for a 10'ft truck in the Santa Rosa location. We got there (Santa rosa) after a 2 hr drive from San Jose only to be told that they over booked and didn't have our truck. I called them prior to us leaving San Jose to let them know that we would be coming a little bit later than originally planned and they said that would be fine. We have a baby that isn't good in the car so even though Cotati wasn't far from Santa Rosa, it became an additional 30 minutes there and back on top of an already long ride. Probably won't rent with Uhaul again.

I feel a tiny bit ripped off from here. First I'd like to mention that the checkout clerk in the evening was very nice. Unfortunately a couple details did not get communicated to the guys the next day (I heard the clerk try to do his part tried, but it didn't make it) so I was charged an additional day (which he told me would not happen). I guess that is OK, I knew I was cutting it close. On top of that, I filled the gas tank at a station in town to slightly over the half way mark while watching the gauge, then drove straight to the drop-off, and was charged a fuel fee. Maybe they didn't wait long enough for the gauge to fully register when they turned it on in the morning? I should have taken a photo. Next time I will. All in all, it all worked out OK, I just paid an extra day and a few dollars of fuel that I shouldn't have been charged. I phoned and talked to someone there the morning I received my bill to question it. He said he'd check with the owner when he got in. I never heard anything. It's really not much money ($20 for the extra day $6 in gas) and I don't expect anything be done, just want you to know my experience in case you hear similar stories or something. Finally, fyi. The email address listed in the final contract email to contact if there are "questions or concerns" bounces back as invalid (at least when clicked directly in gmail. Looks like it has a space and that translates to a "+").
