The information was not updated and had I not taken a picture of the mileage and gas gauge I would have had to pay extra. I had called right away but “customer service can not update ; they can only make a note”. When I got to my drop off I took another picture and that was also good because I did get charged but had the evidence I needed to get a refund. Neither pick up nor drop off personal seemed very competent.
Rochelle BI specifically requested to rent the truck at a brick and mortar store because people complained that the uhaul app was bad but I got sent to a place with no workers anyway. Luckily there was a guy working for uhaul that just happened to be there who got me sorted. I had to move about 50miles total and it cost me 200$ just for the rental and 60$ for gas! That seems outrageous to me compared to the quote: 25$ rental plus 1.50/km….it doesn’t add up.
