The improvement is not for the location. The improvement is aimed at the U-Haul infrastructure. My rental experience was slowed by a systems issue with U-Haul's computer system that was not operating properly during my pick-up. The on-site agent was forced to call in the rental pick up, but that was not without it's own set of challenges. I was eventually able to complete my trailer pick-up, but due to the system issues, I had to assume additional risks on my end of the transaction. I had to document the status of the trailer with pictures of the trailer stored on my device and could not tie them directly to the contract via the app. Here's an opportunity for U-Haul to make network/software improvement to help your site agents and ultimately your customers.

Simple drop off and return
Matthew CI have used UHaul in the past and things are usually good. This time I set an appointment and then it was moved to another location. I think UHaul should retrieve trucks from other stores so customers don't have to chase down trucks on their own, cutting in to time and mileage. The app I was told to use and send pics of the before and after did not work, so I don't know if I was accepted as honest. I was told I would receive 20 miles, but was charger per mile with only using about 16. Too bad you are the only game in town. Some competition might humble your company and set a better standard.
