Not customer service oriented or accommodating in the slightest, and you very much feel like you "owe" them your business, as opposed to being treated like a paying customer. You'll encounter very rude and entitled "I'm-the-owner" type of attitudes at the front desk. The mobile pick-up option is used as an excuse to offload leg work, stress and liability onto the customer. Watch your fuel level closely because they will rip you off at their pump, with cash only gimmicks and minimum dollar value refills- I used 1.8 G, pumped two gallons into the vehicle and the needle stayed in place. They then charged me for refilling the fuel I had already loaded the van with, and paid for in cash, at their location. U-Haul's own customer service did not alleviate the situation either and their customer service person seemed displeased with having to mediate problems created by their ridiculous document requirements to "Authorize" the rental, i.e. demanding a live photo of your passport, a lease, on the spot, in addition to two contacts (such as an employer) as reference. That in itself took over an hour, and instead of hearing apologies I had to sit and listen to the so called customer service "agent" pad ego's at the counter, while speaking about me as if I wasn't standing there.

ANIRUDDHA DThe vehicle broke down. Over heated, had to call road side assistance. Roadside assistance came and put two bottles of coolant in the truck and requested the truck sit overnight. I wasn’t able to complete my move out.

Also, the wait time to check in on the app was over an hour and incredibly convoluted with images not even uploading on the app. $250 was very expensive for a move of 30 miles that took about 5 hours.
