Very unhelpful i left my headphones in the gal called and hour later didn’t pick up so i called next morning and he said he didn’t find them and they were definitely in there $800 dollar headphones

Parking the vehicle to return was the biggest challenge (limited area). Was not able to access the app to make use of 24 hr return.
Lloyd SAs a person the employee was good, However, I had to walk him through the booking as he wasn’t sure what to do. Also, I extended my rental and when I extended it online it said it would be charging me 49$, which was the ONLY reason I extended it. Then we get a bill for 160$ that went through on the Mastercard and we were charged for KM, and we didn’t even use close To the 250 we originally thought. There should be a refund to the credit card as this is robbery. The unit wasn’t even clean when I picked it up. Very disappointed but remember why I swore years ago I would never use uhaul again.
Jennifer MI arrived at this location to pick up a 15 ft U-Haul truck. I confirmed the price of that truck was $29 plus $.99 per kilometre driven. The gentleman at the desk I spoke to told me he needed to pre-authorize my credit card for $52. When I asked why he said he didn’t know, that was just the total, so he got his manager. The manager explained it was a pre-authorization for extra kilometers and any kilometres I didn’t use would be refunded to me. I knew upon arrival my total trip would be under 2 km as I was just going around the corner with it. I received no written contract, no itemized list of what was being pre-authorized, and no receipt. The only thing I was given was a key. No inspection was done. No kilometres were checked with me before departure. I took the truck for my 24 hour reservation and when I returned it this afternoon, the manager was at the desk from the day prior who verbally confirmed yes my bill would only be $29 + $.99 per kilometre travelled, but now today he’s telling me there was an extra $16 added for a care plan which I did not add. He says he does not know how it got added, but it was not there yesterday. When I asked him for a printed receipt he said that was something he was unable to provide. So they held my credit card, pre-authorized and charged a fee that I had not agreed to, and couldn’t produce a receipt for this reservation. This location seems very unprofessional and unaware how to use their own system as they were unable to even provide a receipt to me for my rental. I feel as they’re hiding fees on purpose to charge you more for a basic rental. Because of this I would not recommend or return unfortunately.
