The guy running the gas station I picked it up from told me he was outside when he called me. I told him I was almost there. When I got there he was in Indianapolis and I was forced to talk to him through a workers speaker phone. It was a terrible experience. I did apologize to the worker for my attitude and she was okay with it. But it was not professional at all. I only work with U-Haul locations but was forced elsewhere due to them not having the truck I wanted at their location. And I paid more than what I originally was quoted without being told what it was for and had to do a deep dive later to figure it out.
Cameron SEmployee did not know how to hook up trailer. I had to hook up trailer to my truck. This is unacceptable do to liability and safety.. I will be filing a complaint
SCOTT HAt the time that I reserved the truck, twice with different people at the local store, I confirmed that the truck would be at my local store on the day of our move. When I got there on Saturday/rental day, to pick up the truck they didn't have the truck. This caused a lot of stress because of all the moving parts & people we were coordinating and then loss of time. We hired two helpers who were standing idol until we were able to get to the moving location. The store manager did locate a truck for us but it was down the road a bit at Triple R Express, 2217 W Franklin St, Elkhart, IN 46516 - a gas station. After that, we got on our way and the truck had less than 1/4 of a tank of gas so we had to stop and get gas on our way out rather than on the return so we were further delayed to meet the hired help. I would like to receive compensation for all these inconveniencies and the cost to have two workers sit idol for about 1/2 an hour, each.
