The biggest issue was that no one was at the location when I arrived for my scheduled truck pickup. I had to call the location number to find out when someone would be coming, and another customer was also waiting. By the time someone arrived, I was about 40 minutes behind schedule. When the employee arrived and asked how I was doing, I told him that I was now 40 minutes late. He responded rather rudely that I was “not late.” While he did apologize later, I felt the initial response was unnecessary, especially since the delay was caused by no one being available at the location for my scheduled pickup. I understand that things happen, but customers with reservations should be able to expect someone to be available at the scheduled pickup time, or at least be notified in advance if there will be a delay. Unfortunately, this experience would make me strongly consider using a different truck rental company for my next move.
