The vehicle was found with gas cap off without fuel in the tank, parked so very close to the truck next to it that is was dangerous to remove from the spot to fill with gas! The mirrors do not maintain position during the drive making it very difficult and unsafe on the roadways. We put $20 of gas in the tank which only came to 1/8 tank, notified customer service right away of the issues found at pick up. Customer service said they would apply a $10.50 credit for our trouble and we had to return the truck with at least 1/4 of a tank in order to not be charged the fuel fee of an additional $30! While this location is great and the station attendant (who has nothing to do with UHAUL) was also great UHAUL customer service chat was extremely difficult to deal with and expectations placed on the renter (using 7 miles of service and less than 1 hour of time) were not not realistic or just for this situation

I would like to be informed ahead of time if items I requested to rent from U-Haul are not available at the location I'm requesting from. I had requested two utility dollies and a queen sized mattress cover, but it wasn't until I was picking up everything that I learned the two dollies and mattress cover were not available. I was not charged for them, fortunately, but it did mean I had to find another location on the fly that did have those items available right away. Had I known these things were not available at this location, I would not have come here.
