When I called they weren't interested in talking to me about my drop off and hung up for no reason.

Review for U-Haul – New Fenton Park Location I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at this location. On Friday, July 4th, I rented a trailer using my temporary paper driver’s license with no issues. I returned the trailer on July 5th, and no one helped me hook or unhook it—I had to do everything myself, which showed poor customer service. Because the first rental went fine, I made another online reservation for the following day. When I showed up in the morning, an employee named Sam told me he could not accept my temporary license, even though I had used the exact same one the day before at the same location. I explained this to him, but he just kept repeating, “Sorry sir, I cannot do it.” There was a clear language barrier, and instead of helping, he just canceled my reservation on the spot. That completely ruined my plans—I couldn’t transport my items as scheduled and ended up losing both time and money. The inconsistency and lack of professionalism were unacceptable. I do not recommend renting from this location. The staff applies policies inconsistently, customer service is poor, and you cannot count on them to follow through—even with a confirmed reservation.
ENIS GBit of a language barrier but other than that it was quick and simple. No hassle. I was able to get what I need to get done.
CODY BWas charged $15 for insurance, but insurance was never mentioned when I checked out the truck. Once I noticed this when I got outside, I went back in and asked about this charge. I said I had insurance that covered my use of this truck but was told that didn't matter and that I had no choice but to pay for the U-Haul insurance so I went on my way. When I got back to reu turn the truck at the end of the day, I was cleaning out trash I. the cab and found a copy of a rental contract from this same location from 2 weeks earlier that had no insurance charge. I showed that contract when I returned the key and then the story changed to "you should have said you didn't need the insurance before I swiped your credit card" to which I replied: "I would have had I been told I was being charged for insurance I didn't need before you swiped my credit card." Then the story changed yet again to: "You reserved the truck at this location through a different store (All Purpose Storage in Hillsboro, MO) and they should have mentioned the insurance." zTo which I replied: "Why would they discuss anything with me? All they did is verify you had the size truck available on the day I needed it because my first choice location didn't and they locked in the reservation for me with my credit card." I was then told it was not possible to refund the rental charge after my cc was swiped, even though the excess mileage charges were removed when I returned after the mileage driven was verified. Guess what, the Hillsboro location gets five stars because they had the area manager refund the insurance charge to my cc. I'm not so hard up that I had to get this $15 back, but I don't like being lied to. In closing, I'll give you this free advice. If you always tell the truth you don't have to remember what you say.
BARRY FThe cab of the truck smelled bad. Something heavily spiced like middle eastern food with an undertone of severe body odor, and the box was not swept out. The the person whom i interacted with was only moderately interested in helping me as if doing it was a bother, and has English was probably ok as far as understanding what I said but his accent was near impenetrable. Also there were issues making the computer paperwork a real hassle.
