I am EXTREMELY disappointed. When we arrived, I was told I couldn’t have a truck because “uhauls system was down”. I told the agent I just spoke with someone over the phone, and told them we would be 1/2 hr late and they adjusted my rental, didn’t say the system was down. The agent said she just turned away the guy before me who also had a reservation because she couldn’t do anything on her computer and just shrugged. I went to the APP to find who I had just called and figured out myself I was able to check out using the APP and it worked. She said I was lucky. The truck she gave me she said to “ignore any dashboard or tire lights.” She said the truck was “just maintenanced but the dash lights never go off”. I told her it’s moving day and I’m worried about everything!! I don’t want to worry about lights?! She said it was all she had and would be fine. The tire light, engine light, and a trailer light was lit on the dashboard. I received the truck with 1/2 tank of gas. The first gear was horrible and truck barely accelerates, it drives horrible. I had no choice. I returned the truck early - 4:30pm - because it started smelling hot and I didn’t want to risk any problems or breakdowns. I returned it with 1/4 tank of gas (I put $15 in at the gas station 3 miles from U-Haul). I can’t believe I drove 33 miles but I don’t have proof of beginning mileage. On a map, I’m 4 miles from U-Haul, and drove 2 miles to new apt. I made two trips. That’s 16 miles maximum. But again, I have no proof. We have 3 generations moving to different places within the next 2 weeks who need moving trucks and I WILL NOT EVER recommend this U-Haul facility to anyone. The indifference to the “system being down”, the stress and anxiety that was induced due to the careless maintenance of the truck - THREE dashboard lights?!? - and then the inflated mileage at the end is too much to ignore. Do not rent here. Rent anywhere else.

Vicky PI had issues with the Uhaul App, no problem with the location except that there was no staff at the site. The hours indicated that there would be staff.
JEFFERY OThe office manager for the storage facility was nice and friendly. The truck I had was terrible.. it had about 4 sensors on stating check engine, oil light, tire low, and one other one. I went back in ask the manager for a different truck she didn't have any more. She stated she could upgrade me and the truck would still work. I had no choice at this point as I had to get going. She stated if I had problems to call as I had the insurance. Side note: I was put into a horrible vehicle so if I didn't have the insurance I would of been responsible for something had the truck stopped, this is not acceptable. But anyways, As we drove the truck had a horrible old smell and was very dusty and the brakes were very bad, I mean grinding to the floor bad. I could only drive about 50 on the expressway anything faster felt unsafe. I don't think the location was bad and the manager was nice and helpful but I got a truck that need to be serviced or out of service and to pay full price is ridiculous.
