I've rented many over the years this was the first time I was asked if I wanted them to hook trailer up for a additional charge that was odd. They didn't check the safety of the trailer or my vehicle which they always have in the past. Maybe this is new policy I don't know.Pierce M.

The dollies I ordered we're not included inside the truck. I had to call u-haul support and place a 2nd reservation to get the dolly equipment at a different location. When I arrived at that location they did not have a record of my order. When I went on my dashboard to begin the pickup process for my dollies, there was a system error that prevented me from completing the pickup process online. The person at the 2nd location understood my situation and left me borrow the dollies without a record of my order in their system. The whole thing felt shady and very buggy.Wesley M.

Made a reservation online 1 week in advanced.... the guy at the pick up location called me and confirmed that he had everything and It would be ready to get picked up on Friday at 4:00... Upon arrival the trailer was there however the dolly and moving blankets he had given to someone else... AFTER I made my reservation. Was given a truck w/a water leak, they had repaired with "tape". The rental manager hide this fact in the paperwork, that said "I accepted the truck as is". If I had been shown this paperwork, I would of NEVER accepted this truck. The king mattress set (value of $1000) was damaged, when unexpected rain came during the move. Filed a water damage claim w/ "insurance" they sale & they denied the claim w/excuses. What is really sad this rental manager, had his iPad up & open the the bible scriptures. Guess he skipped over the part about don't lie & to treat other right...Will spread the word, NEVER do business with Tonys Tires Uhaul Rentalsangela D.

Over 90 minutes to check out truck and trailer after reserving and confirming on line. Couldn't possibly have taken longer if I had just walked in and made reservation. Gentleman at location was nice but just not in much of a hurry. And I can't understand why uhaul sent me to "tony's tire" when I drove right past the towson ave uhaul store which had several of the trucks and trailers that I was renting.Kevin B.

I would not even recommend U-Haul to a friend. I reserved online AND Checked in online, so that I could be out the door in a matter of minutes. I had my lunch hour to pick up something I had purchased less than a block from the UHaul location and take it to my house less than two miles away. When I arrived, he told me there was no reservation--nothing. I went out to my car to get my documentation. When I came back in, he told me they did have the reservation...just none of my information. He proceeds to take my address, credit card info, EVERYTHING. Then takes me up front to sign papers. Only the total is more than it was when I reserved it. I asked for detail on those charges, and the first thing I noticed was that he had some $28 insurance on there when I had only taken the $14 insurance. He tells me he will fix it and goes to the back. He comes back 5-10 minutes later, tells me he can't fix it, and that I should just sign it and he will fix it when I return it. By this time, it is 1:30, and no way I can take care of what is needed, so I declined to sign and just left. I called UHaul HQ on the phone and was disconnected once, then transferred from international to regional and back to international, then after I told them what the problem was, the agent would not speak, so I finally just hung up. Pretty sure that was the worst business experience of my life.Jerri Leigh T.
It is a tire shop that also handles rentals. The rental personnel weren't on site so no one on the tire side was willing to do anything other than accept the vehicle and the keys. it was very confusing.Rhonda B.
