One tire on the trailer was very bald. There is no front crank on the trailer to lift it up onto the ball. No way to lock the receiver on the trailer.

These ratings relate to another location, and to the rental website in general, which I was not given an opportunity to rate. I originally reserved a truck at 1333 Main St., Santa Ana, to be picked up at 9:00 a.m.. The computer did not account for the fact that the previous renter had a return time of 10:30 a.m., and so there was no truck available for me at 1333 Main St. I was on a tight schedule, and the U-haul representatives at 1333 Main St. seemed more annoyed with me than apologetic. They ultimately referred me to 13042 Fairview St., which was 15 minutes away. The 13042 Fairview St. location was excellent. However, I am annoyed that the rental website allowed my reservation to overlap with that of another renter. That is not fair to me, or to the previous renter, especially considering that the service should already have been accounting for some "cushion" time between the two rentals so that the U-haul representatives could assess the vehicle for fuel levels and damage before letting me have it. I have had great experiences with U-haul in the past, but this incident was far below their standards. Again, this rating should not reflect on the location at 13042 Fairview St., but on the 1333 Main St. location, and on the rental website.

It seemed very expensive. Our one way haul of about 800 mile cost us nearly $1000.

Antonio and his team on Saturday were the nicest and friendliest group of young men. They had smiles and were even tempered, even on what had to be the start of their biggest rental weekend! Even when Antonio called me to tell me he had a truck 3 hours earlier than my reservation, and in my rush to get there, once I was there with all my anxiousness to get a truck and get moved, they blessed me with their attitudes toward me. That's customer service.

The van i picked up was filthy in the inside and the outside. It had some type of litter and it smelled like farm animal. It was very dirty on the outside. It also had less than a quarter of a tank. Service overall is fair but what a beat up car i took.

Staff met me as I pulled in and directed me where to drop off the trailer. Easy in and out, have rented from them before and I'm sure I will again.

Have more attendants in the early morning on the weekend as that is probably when a lot of people come in.. The wait was a little long but once we were helped the process was smooth and quick. Staff was very friendly, helpful and professional.

When I arrived there were two employees behind the counter. One was on the phone and the other wasn't doing anything. There was a customer in line waiting. The employee that wasn't Doug anything didn't bother to welcome me when I walked in. After 2 minutes of standing there I asked him if he couldn't help me or the other customer in line. He told me it's his first week and he wasn't trying to do any work. So we had to wait for the other employee to get off the phone before we could be helped. Once I did get the moving truck I needed I drove to the location that I was moving items from. Find out that the back of the moving truck still had the lock on it! Had to wait for a U-haul employee to show up and unlock it before we could start moving items in to it. This experience was a nightmare.
