It is unconscionable that Uhaul will not provide adequate liability insurance limits as a component of your rental contract. In NJ, a personal auto policy will not provide liability coversge for the renting of any type of truck. 99 percent of your customers are not aware of this and don’t understand the risks. I will be sure to notify my clients to use other vendors.

The UHaul 24/7 app was awful. The website said to arrive 10 minutes before the planned pick up. We did just that and it took 45 MINUTES to get everything processed and approved. I did not see it anywhere, but they should make it clear that the person who is going to be driving the truck NEEDS to be the one to make the reservation.

The text messages sent to me were all incorrect. The reservation was set up to pick up in Scotch Plains and drop off in Garwood. I received multiple texts that had me dropping off in Scotch Plains and Roselle. This got confusing, I think the texts came from an automated system. This needs to be checked.
