When picked up the vehicle (15 feet long) there was a homeless man at the back next to the vehicle. That homeless man was still then that same day when delivered the vehicle back. The vehicle has only 24 miles left until empty when it was picked up. I put 10 gallons of gas and when it was returned it had only 44 miles left until empty. The miles was about 5 miles per gallon. The gas tank (which I have pictures) has a hole which was patched. I am unsure if the tank leaks as the vehicle is supposed to get 8.7 miles per gallon not less than 5 miles per gallon. The location is flat so no hills and the things moved was a desk and an entertainment center which did not fill up the vehicle's box.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe location was extremely difficult to find and access. The liquor store had right-in/right-out access only, which meant we had to drive around the block just to enter the property. There was also no visible U-Haul signage anywhere to confirm that we were at the correct location. Clear U-Haul signage was especially important because we did not expect the rental operation to be located inside a liquor store. The store itself did not present the type of environment we would typically associate with a U-Haul rental location, which made the lack of signage and clear identification even more problematic. Once we found the store, the rental truck was located behind the building, and access to and from the truck was also difficult. Overall, the lack of signage, confusing property access, unexpected location within the liquor store, and difficult truck ingress and egress made the rental location unnecessarily frustrating and inconvenient.
Daniel OInstructions for finding, accessing, and picking up the U-Haul were unclear. Attendant at the front in the liquor store struggled to be helpful. Getting in contact with a human person to help resolve the situation was challenging. Additionally, my U-Haul was blocked in by the others and impossible to move until it was communicated with the front attendant that they needed to move trucks around so that I could get out the one I had reserved. Pickup ended up being delayed by nearly an hour due to these cascading failures.

Robert TIt was dirty and homeless had there belonging all over the vehicle. We had them Chas us Dow to retrieve there backpacks. One threw up as we were entering the vehicle. Too many hidden fees and was charged for gas we already filled in.
