The day before the rental, I was notified that the pickup location did not have a truck, so I was told to drive 20 minutes in the wrong direction to pick up the truck at a different location. The truck had muddy footprints throughout the driver's side floor and back of the truck. the back of the truck contained debris that I had to blow out before loading. I took pictures. I took pictures of the gas gauge. I returned the truck with the same or more gas and I returned the truck cleaner than it was. I was charged $43.55 for clean-up fees and gas fees. Fortunately, I had pictures and was able to successfully dispute the charges and received a credit. If anything, I should have demanded a discount for the muddy filthy rental. Need to move the kids bike and tire rims out of the way of the key area.
