There were a couple of problems with the paperwork, but it got worked out.

The associate who helped me was really helpful. We thought the van I wanted was not there, but then he discovered it was and even though there were many customers, and he had a lot to do, he made sure I got what I reserved and he saved me some money.

Picked up a uhaul after reserving online. We specified online that we would be dropping the truck off at a different location. When we went to pick up the truck we weren't told that the truck was owned by this particular location. We were told to "receive the rest of the deposit when the truck was dropped off". We ended up bringing the truck back after trying to drop it off at our new nearest location. Brandon was the person who had checked us in both times. He said repeatedly that "I wish you would have told me where you were going or what you thought before taking the truck then, I dont know what I'm supposed to do now about it". He was rude at first but after coming back in from examining the truck had a SLIGHTLY more apologetic tone. I was confused as to why it wasn't reiterated to me at this location like at others I had previously visited, where to drop this truck off if not at any uhaul. That's a communication flaw on his behalf and to blame the customer for Brandon's lack of step by step service is a window into what kind of issues this location in particular must have. They did wave the gas and milage but made it clear that if was a fault on our part and made it seem like a gracious act displayed by them to do so. I wish it was communicated a lot better than it was as a whole.

Employees need better training on computer system. I wanted to simply return the car hauler before the truck and they could not seem to figure out how to just return the trailer. They had to call into Uhaul to find out how to do it. Then when I go to return the truck they ask me if I returned the car hauler somewhere else. Not impressed, will only use Uhaul for local moving going forward.

The fule gaze is very confusing .It was between half and 3/4th .How exactly I should fill the gas .I drove the vehicle for just 20 miles .I filled three gallons of gas to come to same level . It means two things .Either the Uhaul Van goes less than 7 miles per gallon or the fule reading are wrong .

Just continue to provide the type of service that I experienced with my rental yesterday.

Had a concern about a badly rusted wheel rim but had no problems

The online drop off procedure is too complicated and certainly doesn't work if you are in a hurry or don't use a cell phone extensively. (I had an appointment to get to, so I couldn't do what was asked on the video). I just dropped the key.

We rented a utility trailer, it was rusty and dented. But it did what we needed it to do and haul tree debris away.

The sales person forgot to put the dolly and pads in the truck so I had to go back to get them.

I didn't have a trailer reservation when I showed up on a busy Saturday morning in peak moving season. I needed a trailer for my business...and was in a hurry. Mr. McFarland was very accommodating. He found me the right equipment and sped me through the check out process. The Plainfield UHAUL is tops in my book. Steve W

Would ask for some further clarity in your Explorer policy stating that 2012 and newer models are ok to haul trailers. Also, would ask for a waiver for allowing jeep owners to rent with soft top option. Have no issue accepting responsibility for driving safely with a soft top but changing out soft top to hard top for a couple day rental is a lot of effort for something that could be managed through an agreement. Thanks for your consideration.

Appreciated the friendly customer service and help with changing the pick up and drop off times. They also did a great job answering all my questions and offered recommendations as well.

While the truck was clean it had a very strong smoke smell which made it unpleasant to ride around in.

Keep up the good work!

The tires on the truck were bald. It was worrisome driving it accross the country.

Shorten the waiting time at the counter for service. I waited 20 minutes in the store for service the first and second time I came in. Maybe hire more help? Thank you.

We originally rented from the store at 2345 Alpine Ave NW, Walker, MI 49504. We had a pick up time for 9:00 AM. We did not make it to the location until around 12:30. They were extremely rude and said that they didn't have the truck anymore (even though we pre-paid with a credit card). They said they called both #'s on file for us. The problem with that is that one of the phone #'s was a business # that is answered by a receptionist. We never received a phone call. The person who helped us never once apologized for the order being cancelled. They did find another truck for us at another location. The Plainfield location was much cleaner and the staff was friendly. I would not recommend using the Alpine Ave U-Haul to anyone. I would stay away from that location.
