The owner of the store is very difficult to do business with
Hannah FThe owner at facility where we picked up our U-Haul was not only unhelpful, but rude. I have had prior bad experiences with him in other U-Haul rentals and so I attempted to check in via the U-Haul app and when I got to the step to unlock the trailer the code given was not gaining access to the lock. I called customer service who advised me to go into the store and ask the owner for help. He told me that I was not in his system there was nothing he could do and asked me to step aside so he could ring up a customer waiting to pay for gas. I called back to customer service and an extremely helpful agent by the name of Nancy went through several different codes to get the lock open. She was on the phone with me while I was talking with the owner and she was able to hear the conversation she advised me to leave the facility and handle everything else through her as she seen how rude and unhelpful he was. The owner had put the wrong lock on the truck and that was what caused this entire issue. So thankful for Nancy and all of her hard work otherwise, this Uhaul rental would have not been possible.
