The staff were very friendly. One of the women grabbed the trailer and pulled it over to my van, hooked it up, checked the lights, and said "Have a Nice Day!". I said thank you for doing that, and she said, "I'm just doing my job." Can't get much better than that. Great service at this location.

My "guaranteed" reservation was not met. I was expected to wait till the day before I needed the van to hear about a replacement. I was told to expect a call I didn't receive when the replacement arrived early. I lost many hours rental and am very, very disappointed. I won't recommend Uhaul again.

We rented a truck in Winnipeg. The staff was very courteous and pleasant. I reserved a truck in Halifax. I guess there was a little confusion on the pick up time. I thought I had reserved for 12 noon but in actuality it was for 8 am. The staff was not very friendly and seemed annoyed with us. I did call around 10am to let them know we would be picking up around 3 or 4

Some weeks ago I reserved a 15 foot truck, but what was provided was a 26 foot truck, far too large for my needs, particularly since was I was driving from Halifax to Kitchener. A real gas guzzler! An adjustment was made in the allowable mileage and an added day, both of which were nice gestures but I would have much preferred the 15 foot truck I reserved (and which was confirmed by e-mail earlier in the week).

when I checked out at this location, I swear they told me I can return the moving truck the next day anytime before 8pm . HOWEVER, at the next day morning, I got call from the boss of this location. she said I have to return the truck right right now very unpolitely and directly. So I explained what I heard from there when I checked out, but she just ignored what I said and repeat that sentence again and again. I had no choice, so I put it back. she never say sorry to me and I'm really angry at her attitude. this is what their customer service. I'm very disappointed their attitude. I will never use this location again.

I was 30 minutes late getting my u-haul and was then told after waiting (I booked my uhaul a month ago and it was confirmed twice that I had it from 8am-12pm for FOUR hours-they even said I could have it till 2pm beforehand) that I could only have it until 10am. So that would mean only one hour and a half. a phone call was made and the person assigned to the vehicle after me at 10 agreed to change it to 12 HOWEVER it should've been organized in the first place and I should have been allowed at least my 4 hours. Am disappointed in the service

Very busy time of year so waited 25' to get trailer. Was I able to get someone to check the trailer hook up within 10'. But the staff were working very hard and quickly but needed more staff.

I had a good experience with my rental but there should be more than one person staffing the desk. It was hectic and even first thing in the morning there was a lineup. Pick up and drop off went smoothly and I had no issues with the van I rented.

Great location for students in the city, vehicles were well kept and clean. Building was not well kept but didn't take from the U-haul experience (was there for a Uhaul, not a nice building). Great customer service, gentleman at the desk was very friendly and had everything organized.

You need 2 computers there and 2 people to serve. It was chaos when we arrived!!! Yes, it was the time of year but why is that considered acceptable? If you know things are going to be that much busier and demanding at that time of year (students returning, etc.) why not have the set up to deal with it properly? I booked weeks in advance and called 2x the week prior to the move and still did not receive a confirmation from U=Haul by telephone. When we arrived they did not have on record that we had booked a 20 foot van. They did not have on file that we needed moving blankets. They did not give us a proper contract nor did they explain about mileage or about the calculations around fuel. We picked van up with 1/4 tank and dropped it off with 1/2 tank as we did not know how to gauge fuel consumption. So all in all it was very stressful at the outset. All was clarified at the drop off location--which as you can see by my comments is run very efficiently. But this location--I give it an "F' rating.

the truck I got smelled like manure which in turn made my furniture also smell that way. Also, I was not told about the check out process with the van, I was only told to hand over my keys when I was finished.

I put fuel in the tank back to the level it was at prior to leaving the facility but my receipt shows it lower than the level and charged me a fee as if I did not put any gas in it. Unacceptable.

I was not informed of where to drop the keys of the truck and i was not aware that the pick up store will be closed by 6pm and my return time was for 7pm.

The representative did not choose a drop off location that is convenient for the customer despite the fact that we have requested a closer drop off location. The truck was in a horrible condition, had to call for roadside assistance and had three tires changed. The truck clearly did not go through proper inspection and was life threatening.

I got my reservation online for my vehicle of choice, put in my destination, gave my credit card number. when i went to pick up the truck, the agent, Lauren, was extremely rude, and unknowledgeable. It was like I as a customer was distracting her from something else. I didn't understand why she didn't know my destination, and was more than a little wary that she asked for my credit card even though I had given it online. When I asked why she didn't already have the information I provided, her response was, "Its not my fault you put all of your information online, I didn't make you do that. But I do need it to complete the reservation." What kind of answer is that? I was expecting, it was just a matter of some information not being transfered. And what kind of customer service is this? The truck itself was unclean, and doing the walkthrough ahe made a point of letting me and my friend know it hadn't been clean, but that I would be responsible for the cleaning anyway. Even though it was a mess when given to me. the paperwork indicated there was just over a quarter of a tank of gas in the vehicle, and there was actually a little less. The move itself went fine. after the move however i received a call fron Lauren telling me that my payment could not be processed. The total on my receit indicated a charge of $47 and some odd cents. And that amount had indeed been charged to my bank account. She had told me that the charge was in fact $50 dollars and some cents and that the remaining $2.66 could not be taken due to a banking error. I asurred her the money was there (Still is), but she demanded very rudely that it was urgent that I go to an ATM, withdraw $20, and take it to her so she can take the last 2.66 as she was unable to accept debit. I told her I would have to come down through the week. her response was that she would have to reverse the total charge and put my contract on hold. As of this writing the reversal has nor gone througj and i have zero intention of paying until it does, nor do I ever intend to use uhaul again. I move around a fair amount for work and have used Uhaul 4 times now, but the way I was treated by a representative of yours without any regard for decnency or actual customer service skills basically ensures that I am going to go with another company from here on out.
