Don’t overbook your equipment. I had to drive 30 miles further to pick up my truck which made my drive 4 hours. I thought the truck was confirmed as that’s what was written on my reservation. This is the 4th time I rented and it was very unexpected

Our agreement was to pick the truck up in Mastic & then it was changed to Hampton bays, which was an extra 40 miles out of our way round trip. Once we got to the location it took well over a half hour to actually get the truck. Nobody knew what was going on; we were emailing, texting & calling back & forth, it was absolutely ridiculous.
William NThis is the second time in a row in the last month I have had an issue with renting. This time the attendant had no idea about the rental or how to do it & wouldn't release the truck. We had to go back again with u-haul company on the phone to get the truck that had been secured via the online app. The manager was on vacation & the woman had no idea what was going on & couldn't communicate with us & she stopped answering the phone. The other time the truck in WH was not available & no substitution offered or call made to tell us> not great experiences either . Very frustrating & inconvenient
