We have rented several uhauls over the years and have on occasion had to call and say we were running late but 15-30mins, this is the first time that we have been told that if we weren't there by the time of return we would be charged for another full day. When I said fine we will keep it for another day the girl got pissy and said we couldn't do that because someone was schedules to rent it the next day. So off someone is scheduled for the next day how are you going to charge us for another full day if we can't have it for a full day? I have never had any uhauls act like this and get bent out of shape for 15 mins.... I will probably not use this location again.

I was frustrated by the photo upload parts of the process. Trying to return my trailer after hours and relying on a photo upload that wouldn't work was aggravating. The checkout process was slow, and I wish that I could have done these tasks (e.g. drivers license photo upload) ahead of time during reservation.

I have rented twice from this location. Both pickup times it was staffed by young part time employees (my guess). I have no issue with these employees because it's all about training and this location is primarily a hardware store. My wife picked up our first rental trailer and the employee hooked up the trailer to my van. About 20 miles away the trailer tongue came off the ball when going over a bump at highway speed because it wasn't screwed tight. Thank god there was no accident or damage. I hooked up the trailer myself with no supervision on this last rental. That's fine, but probably not U-Haul policy. The trailer lights didn't work. I pulled a car dolly over to my van to confirm the trailer lights were bad and it wasn't my van. I went back in the store and reported this. There were no other trailers and the staff was not equipped to deal with the problem - but they did tell me there were lighting problems with this specific trailer on previous occasions. I wonder why that wasn't addressed? I was able to determine that there was a ground problem under the trailer and it was repairable. I told the staff what I needed to make the repair but was told helping me was against store policy. Again, I'm not mad at the kids working at this store as they just didn't know what to do, but this location has not represented U-Haul well. I ended up taking the trailer as-is and just temporarily rigging the wiring for the rest of my use. I doubt if U-Haul sanctions equipment hitting the road with malfunctioning lighting. My experiences make make U-Haul feel like more of a necessary evil than a positive resource. I'll probably keep coming back because I really need your type of equipment from time to time, and the trailer rental prices are very reasonable. The store reservation process on the phone was very good. I just wish the rest of the experience was better.

After we got trailer and got it loaded, we went to check the tires, and noticed a screw in one of the tires. The next morning, they came out and put 2 new tires on the 6 x 12 trailer. No more problems on the net day when we hauled it. Excellent service.
