Uhaul is a bait and switch . Not good at customer service.

Stood in line for 30 mins.. only one person working in a very busy Friday afternoon..

There was apparently a truck shortage. I had to wait to return/check-in my truck while the previous one (returned by my wife) was cleaned and prepared for another customer to drive away with. 20m of waiting before my truck could be checked in seems unreasonable to me.

This location is short staffed. But the employees who assisted me were the nicest I can imagine. Because of being short staffed, The nice young man who helped me hitch the trailer forgot to give me my moving blankets and I had to make a second trip back to the store while people were at my house loading my trailer.

There was some delay in checking in the equipment (about twenty - thirty minutes). There were two trucks being checked in ahead of us.

This is the second time we've used this location. In fact, my sister used this location as well, and we are both VERY happy with the service.

I rented a car hauler trailer, easy enough. Needed it for a mere 6 hours. This is the second time I have used this location. Both experiences were terrible. This time, I rent the trailer. I did the entire contract. Went and hooked up to the trailer. Asked the guy working if I was good. His reply, yes have a good day. I left. Not 5 minutes later I'm called. Answer the phone. I'm told I need to come back because the contract was not done AND I was given a trailer that was not to be rented out. So I return and I did the exact same contract process as I had done before. Present my drivers license, give all the same information again, swipe my card again. It was the exact same process. The time previous to this. I rent a trailer, told it will fit the truck needing to be hauled. Get the trailer, hook it up, pay for it. Go out to the truck and load it. Truck does not fit. The trailer is about 3 feet too short. So I go back inside and tell the attendant that the trailer does not fit my needs. I never even left the parking lot with the trailer and it took days for my money to be returned. The contract was active for less than 20 minutes and the transaction couldn't be canceled or a cash equivalent refund given. I am sure that at this point it is safe to say I will be using budget rentals for now on.

There was a mix up on the pickup time that I had to correct by phone. Closer attention to customer needs will improve your service.

Customer service was absolutely terrible. We spent over an hour while waiting for the guy that was helping us as he ran around clearly incapable of doing his job. He had to have me give him my personal information several times and once he finally decided to ask for help the other guy had us out the door in just a matter of minutes. Extremely disappointed in this store.

The scheduling out of Spokane needs help as we had to drive an hour different directions to pick up two different trucks. This is not a comment for the drop off but for the scheduling and overall Uhaul.

Put.new tires on your trailers. People shouldn't be worried about blow outs based on observable tire conditions. Great assistant manager though.

Windsheild was very dirty when I picked up the truck

Van need alignment, airbag light was on. Could have been cleaner. Inital listing price was deceptive.

I now remember why I quit using Uhaul

The man who was in charge was totally rude and talked to me and my fiance like we were complete idiots. Not to mention that he had hickies all over his neck. I have never used Uhaul & I never will again. Worst $100 I have ever spent.

Make sure the gas tanks on the vans are full when the customer drives off.

Equipment was in excellent condition and performed well. The manager and staff at the Idaho Falls location were friendly and very helpful but the man at the Va Beach drop off location was grumpy and acted like we were bothering him. If that is his normal personality then he is not the best contact for U-Haul. We will certainly rent from U-Haul if needed.

I've used U-Haul multiple times in the past and have never had a bad experience. This time was different for a few reasons. 1. The check-out process took way too long. I waited for about 30 minutes to pay for the trailer I needed. This was primarily because the person helping me had only been on the job a couple of days and had little/no help from other employees during the process. 2. The trailer I rented was improperly maintained. We learned this when, after only the third time opening the ramp, the welding on the left hinge broke. My brother was helping me and noticed that the hinge looked rusted, and likely hadn't been oiled and maintained properly. These trailers are left uncovered in Eastern Idaho, where the weather is anything but forgiving. I would have thought that maintenance would be a big deal for this U-Haul location. 3. My brother immediately brought the trailer back to the U-Haul location. The first employee who looked at it noticed the rusted hinge and acknowledged that it was likely not our fault, but he wanted to check with his manager to be sure. The manager came out and immediately said that we were going to have to pay for the damage. (We had declined the insurance option during check-out.) My brother resisted, and pointed out that the welding broke, and it would be very difficult for a customer to break that during normal use. The manager said he would contact his manager to see what they would do. 4. An hour later, I got a call from U-Haul saying the hinges were rusty and we wouldn't be charged. This was something that could have easily been acknowledged when we first brought the trailer in. 5. We still had over 4 hours left with the trailer when the hinge broke and hadn't finished moving everything that we needed. There weren't any solutions offered by U-Haul, either swapping out the trailer or refunding the cost of the rental. After this visit, I honestly don't think I will ever use U-Haul again.

The uhaul staff in Idaho Falls were very helpful and the Wenatchee Uhaul staff let us keep our stuff in the truck free of charge for an extra week because our apartment wasn't ready for us. Uhaul really went out of their way to help us during a difficult time. We're very impressed and grateful!
