I was excited to use uhaul because I had never used it before. When I picked it up the customer service was terrible and couldn't answer the questions that I had. The drop off process was also bad. When the question asked if it was clean enough for another family I put no thinking y'all would obviously sanitize before the next family considering covid. But it put a 25 dollar fee. So I redid it because the truck was clean, I had only been in it for two hours and had nothing in the cab. So how do I know my truck was sanitized when I used it? Or do I have to pay 25$ for your company to do it's part and try to help your customers. Ya I don't think I'll be using uhaul again.

Uhaul in joplin is a ridicoulous place they rob you of your deposit on fake fees never would I tell anyone to use them ill share my bad experience all over social media
Nothing really. Fast check in, and I was on my way.
When I got to this location they were kind of busy, but when I walked in a worker walked up to the desk and said how may I help you. I said I am here to return a dolly and trailer. They came out right away and got me back on the road again
Billy and the rest of the crew at the Joplin location on E. 7th st. took great care of us. Made sure our needs were met. We were very satisfied with the friendly and quick service of Uhaul and the crew. And the price was right. Thank you again .
Well it would have been nice not to have to sit and wait two hours not to mention the gas I ran out sitting there for two hours I have to fill up for the gas I use in a uhaul but wen uhaul makes a mistake and keeps me there 2 hours cause they didn't ring me up right and it tried to charge me like 5000$ for a 15 ft truck that I put 10 miles on on a .79 cents a mile day.. sad to say I think uhaul lost a customer, what happened to customer service? I Kno I left uhaul very dissapointed I honestly feel I should be remburst my fees for the day, the 2 hours I waited my ride had to leave I ended up walking home in the freezing cold cause poor customer service !!!!!!
Stop lying and cheating
The van that I was given needs back tires.. I got one with new tires. The head lights weren't adjusted right. Made it hard too see to drive at night. The van I had pulled to the right. It wore me out to drive it here... it has a miss in it.
Very difficult to even find the front door.
Upon picking up my rental I reserved online, the truck wasn't ready. They put me in a truck then had to stop me and told me they gave me the wrong one. So I had to go back into the store and they had to log me into a different truck. Upon paying, the receipt showed the fuel tank was full. I get out to the truck and the tank was half fuel. So I had to go back inside and provide them with the correct info. The pick up was a hassle and took up some of my time that I needed to get my day started with moving.
Nothing everything was good and they gave me what I asked for.
You should make it clear to people doing the mobile pick up that they still need to go inside and speak to a salesperson. The online pickup was a nightmare and the truck was not where the location indicated. I will avoid using your company in the future as the experience was not worth the hassle.
Truck was fine, rental process was fine. Only real issue was the guy working inside. He was rude and made it abundantly clear that he was being put out by our truck return.
Did not have the size truck that I had reserved to be picked up. They put me in a larger truck, which I absolutely did not need as I was moving 2 items. And then the truck I was put in turned out to be a death-trap that completely lost control of the steering over 50 mph. I told the guy at the site this, as a warning to not put other customers in this truck and the guy just stared at me like I was an inconvenience to him for even saying it.
The truck had poor alignment and was difficult to handle as a result. It's windshield rear view mirror was missing which made visibility reduced..Check in and check out were professional and courteous
We needed to utilize our day as much as possible for a local move from one house to another. This Uhaul location was open at 7:00 am and ready for us when we arrived for pickup just a few minutes after 7:00. Everything from pickup to return was convenient and seamless. Great customer service. Highly recommend this locaction
I rented a small trailer to haul some things out of my old home to move to my new home 14 hrs away. Nobody even opened the trailer to look in it, so it was hooked up and we left. The night we went to load it(new Year eve) there was a lock on it from someone else!!! We had no tools to cut it off, I had to find someone to help us on New Year's Eve!!!!! A man who helped us had to go buy a electric saw to get it off that I had to pay for another 65 dollars. That took 2 hrs. Then the trailer had boxes and bags in it from the previous renter!!! This was all uncalled for!! We use U-Haul always on our moves. We never have experienced this.
Workers were pretty numb. Emotionless and never smiled. They did not look happy to work there. Seemed like it was the culture of the team.
ridiculous not to accept a valid MO. paper temporary driver license . this is completely legal and valid with the state.
This is the 3rd time I have chosen to complete the pick up over my phone. The 2nd & 3rd time the keys weren't in the lockbox and I had to go inside. This time the truck wasn't even pulled to the reserve section. When I walked back in to explain that the truck was not where it should be there were the same 5 people standing around the cash wrap (I'm no sure if they were all employees) and they all acted to inconvenienced to show me where to find my truck out of the 30+ in the lot. The guy who helped me seemed quite irritated to do so until he realized that it wasn't where it was supposed to be. He gave me a half rate apology and a dirty truck. I have to rent a 10 footer monthly to bring food to the elderly. I spend over $40 each month and each time the process is always stressful to pick up the truck.
The truck wasn't ready when we arrived. The workers were not overly friendly or helpful. The truck had cigarette butts in the ashtray.
Staff was very rude and not friendly at all. Won't be coming back to this location.
Buy them newer trucks
Very nice people to deal with.
