Location unsure how to complete check in process…I ended up doing self check in online and they were still unsure once I showed them that I had successfully completed the check in and to pick up keys.

Overall our experience with Day to Day was very good. However, our experience using the U-Haul app was a nightmare and the help desk in Florida was misleading and useless. It is clear U-Haul is over reliant on AI as the facial recognition software didn't work. After trying to use the remote app to validate my identity for about 30 minutes I called their help desk. Although the lady was very nice she informed me there was no alternative to using the app to gain access to the key which was contrary to what I had been told a few days earlier by a very indifferent 'help desk" person. I was sent to a different location where a real live person could help me, but it turned out I had been misdirected as they didn't have the vehicle I needed. So we went back to the original pick up location where once again the facial recognition software wasn't working! After another 30 minutes it did work. All in all, it took me 90 minutes to pick up the truck while in the meantime We were paying movers $150/hour to sit idly waiting for us. The fellow at Day to Day was very polite but our situation was out of his hands. Because of the the inoperable app we got caught in traffic that delayed us another hour resulting in two of the hands we had hired at our destination to back out leaving two seniors and two friends to unload the truck. Furthermore the engine light came on in the truck. All in all, aside from the politeness of the fellow at the Day to Day location and at the U-Haul Halsten Road location in Kamloops the experience was horrible. The delays cost us an additional $350 and my wife and I, both seniors had to risk our safety because the lost labour we hired due to the time delay caused by U-Hauls pathetic app.

Salah UAbsolutely not, the people take it really slow told him three times haven’t moved the vehicle so we cannot parking there and Uhaul truck was blocked the alley. The location sucks small alley it’s hard to park. The attitude is rude. We thought is the company of Uhaul is a fucking ridiculous Indian convenience store. Like what the fuck who pick the location, i’m beg your pardon, reconsideration the location and the parking space. Make more sign of Uhaul parking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
