I had nothing but issues trying to rent a moving vehicle for two weeks. I finally ended up renting a 5x8 trailer as this was the only thing available to me that didn’t require me to travel over an hour to a pick up location. On the phone I was told I would only be charged for 2 days of rental but provided the trailer for 4 days as “compensation”. It was told it would be $17 something per day plus taxes etc. Then I was told the rental would be $63 but I ended paying $107 even though I returned it a day early. Overall it was a horrible experience and no one seemed to know what they were doing.
Rhonda MLocation pickup changed to 100 km away from original pickup.Was dirty and with only an elderly lady in the office i was left to connect the trailer nyself.Had to wait for an emplyee to eventually arrive to make sure i was connected properly and i wasnt.
Mark P26 ft truck and auto carrier rented and our trip to Manitoba went perfect with no problems at all, equipment was very clean and truck only had 26,000 miles on it ,very comfortable for 2 people to ride in . would definitely rent from U-Haul again.
