Carlo mI reserved 2 dollies on Thursday but when I went to pick up my truck rental, along with the dollies, I was told that, while I wouldn't be charged, no dollies were available. Why, then, did U-Haul allow me to reserve them AND why wasn't I notified that this was the case prior to my arrival so that I could've made other arrangements. Instead, I was sent to another location in hopes of locating dollies (no offer to call the location to check availability on my behalf before having to actually drive there). That location had no dollies available, either. This was a HUGE inconvenience, extending my move time greatly, and making things much more difficult in general. I would like to request additional compensation in the form of a refund!!
Ronald SThe staff at the drop-off location were very nice. However, I handed over the keys before 3:00 PM, ahead of my 3:45 PM return deadline. I was not asked to sign anything and was simply told I was “good to go.” My receipt later showed a 6:00 PM return time and an additional $40 charge for an extra day. Please correct the return time and refund the $40 charge, along with any related coverage fees and taxes, as I returned the truck on time.
