The customer service was fine, and the pickup location was fine. The inside of the truck (storage area) had an awful smell and the floor of the cab had stains. I had to put plastic down on the floor of the cab before loading it, but that didn't help with the smell. It smelled like vomit or a pet died in it. I'm going to reach out to UHaul for a refund or some kind of accommodation.

It seems that the person behind the counter did not know their job on the U-Haul end. I handed my phone to him several times when I was on the phone with a U-Haul customer. Then finally, he handed me the key to the veichel.

ARNOLD MBest Western in laplata was absolute garbage not helpful, rude , and disrespectful only after I got the u haul rep on the phone and put them on speaker did they change there tune, they made me late going home and I got caught in the winter storm all because my RESERVATION wasn't ready and they told me they don't know if there is s truck available meanwhile I was staring at 2 trucks that matched the description of the one I reserved all in all I would use u haul again just not the pick up at the best western
