Randy was great.
Shaun BI had planned to hold the truck over for one day so I could use it to move additional items. I received a call from the site manager at 10:00 p.m. that night telling me they were about to report the truck stolen, that someone had checked it back in and it was missing from the lot. I had the truck parked near my house and never checked it in. I ask if I could keep the truck for the extra day and he refused. We agreed that I would return it by 10 a.m. I was charged for an extra day eventhough I was not given the time to use it. I ask him this morning if he found out what had happend and he did not respond. Suffice it to say I will never use Uhaul again. I don't like being treated like a criminal. Penske is a far better organization.
DIEGO MThis place was managed by a man and girlfriend for many many years always had new trucks, but I don't see him anywhere. Now is runned by an old man that used to be a worker there and he is a crook. With a place packed full of trucks, he put me in junker with a bad gas gage and under E for empty, he asked me to bring it back 1/4 full and he would deduct 20 miles to make us even. Since the truck has no gas I had to put $30 gas right away but the gage barely moved, didn't even reach the E. the gas bill was $.4.99 x 6 gallons = the $30 I put in, In Google Maps I check the distance from uHaul to my office in Fullerton 24 miles + Office to my house 28 miles + House back to uHaul 3.4 miles = 55.4 miles. 54.4 miles x 1.09 per mile charge = $59.29 but he insisted that the junk van said 77 miles, that is a difference of 21.6 miles x $1.09 per mile =$23.54 padded into the bill + taxes off course. Next is the gas, he tried to sucker me to put in $60 or more of gas to get the gage to 1/4 and wrote the contract that way and the receipt. Questions "how does he offer to change the miles if I add more gas than the gage shows before you leave??" he must be able to manipulate the miles in the odometer ?? Its not a lot of money but I hate being ripped off.
