If there was a downside, the van was on empty when I picked it up. Rich called ahead and informed me. Other than that the experience overall was great. Would use this location again if the arose.

Jose HI had a reservation for a UHaul truck/ car transport trailer reserved for this day at the Illinois Fleet Service located at 1500 S Schoolhouse Rd, New Lenox, IL 60451. I was contacted the day before by an employee named William and assured everything was all set when I flown in from Detroit. It was a nightmare! After 40 minutes of zero help/ no employees since it was closed on the weekend, I was advised by UHaul that a truck/ trailer combo was NOT allowed by this shop not open. The truck/ trailer combo was not ready as promised. Thankfully, although I had to drive 23 more miles to the Advanced Auto Sales location, I was able to get what I needed and get on the road. Rich was amazing! I’ve never heard of UHaul being closed on weekends-when most people move! I give Rich at Advanced Auto Sales praise and high Marks, however, after dealing with Illinois Fleet Services, I wouldn’t even rate them ONE STAR.
