Either the parking break or other breaks were seized. I was not able to drive the truck and had to call customer support to switch before I even left the property

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe truck was not in good mechanical condition
Mohammad AI used Uhaul twice in the last month. First I got a vehicle from Kitchener in Fairway and dropped it off at this gas station/U-Haul dealer and I got home to a surprise charge which I had to send pictures to prove that I put in sufficient gas…which I did and luckily had a picture for so I got a credit. I went back to the same place and was given a truck…the gas was wrong again…guy said it had a 1/4 tank and it had way less. That’s 2x with the same wrong gas reading at the same location within 2 weeks. That’s a scam/scammer in action and is ruining your reputation…not that it’s squeaky clean…but what a brutal experience. And yall put it on the customer to police the situation and gather evidence like it’s CSI *cue the csi sound. Customer Service is lost these days, that last guy I spoke to when I called in showed zero empathy. I’m randomly venting here knowing nothing will com of it but man it sucks. You can’t trust anyone/anywhere there days. Things used to be better. It’s sad
Andrew MShady experience. Gave the keys after closing the vehicle and putting the sun shade back up (being a responsible uhaul customer). Put in $20 in gas, checked the meter and added $15 more so the gauge was exactly right. I run errands, get home and check my email and I have a charge for 9L equaling $20. You really can't trust anyone these days. Even when you try to do things right, there's someone or some company being shady. I explained my situation to the phone rep at the 1800 number and guy stayed in silence for literally 30+ seconds (twice). I had to ask him if he was still there. He didn't even acknowledge my vent about the situation nor showed even a morsel of empathy. I didn't raise my voice or use profanity. I continue to wonder where customer service has gone these days. So infuriating.
Andrew MThe agent at the location was helpful and accommodating when picking up the truck. It was a pleasure to work with him.
