The fact that I had to call and make changes to the truck due to the first truck not working and had to call to find the key and that no one was there to help with this was bad. I spent about 1 hour on the phone trying to make it work and get the truck. I was not pleased at all.Adrian D.

Please try to let customers know more than twenty four hours in advance if you don't have the size requested. I was notified 72 hours before that we were good to go with the size requested. The afternoon before the day of the move I was notified that size wasn't available. I had to call the office and recruit a friend with a trailer. It is also hard to read the gas line on these trucks. I thought I had filled it to the line only to discover with a later charge that I had not done so.Evan P.

The truck was blocked in and they use a make shift drive in the back to move the trucks in and out which you have to jump a curb. It was a nightmare getting that big truck out and no one was there to move the ones blocking the drive. However the truck was fine and clean.Kyle S.

Check the equipment before renting it out. The car dollie that I rented allowed my tire to turn even though it was stranded down tightemma H.
When your changing the location that your customer ask for you need to let them know a couple days in advance not the day before pick up. Also if you don't have the equipment on hand that was request, email one of you U-Haul location and have it send there. I requested some pads and they said that they were out of them and than found some dirty ones in the back and gave them to me to use (4 each) also they didn't have any dolly on hand. Late the location I request to pick up the truck was two miles from the location we're moving, I have to drive 39 mile out he way to pick up the truck, because they change the location. Due to my requested location not having the truck on hand ( A& B Storage) 231 Troy Highway. Also their are four other U-Haul locations in Troy, why not use one of these.Lenton V.
My experience with the Luverne U-haul service was pleasant; however, the treatment I received as a customer following protocol in renting a truck was disappointing. I reserved a truck in my local area and received confirmation within minutes. One week later, my reservation for that area is transferred to another area an hour away from me. The owner of that facility called me, even though I was in the process of calling U-haul regarding the matter, and informed me that the 15 foot U-haul was promised to someone and she cancelled the reservation. I then made ANOTHER reservation for a truck that showed available and one second after the confirmation email was received a representative called to tell me THAT truck was unavailable. The options she gave were an hour and a half to two hours away. On my own, I found a truck that was twenty minutes away. Though I reserved a fifteen foot truck, I had to settle for a ten foot truck. I have used U-haul in the past and this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.Renee C.
