Friendly staff, but the UHAUL was backed into a pile of gravel and required some cleaning. The truck was also left relatively dirty in the cab and had 1/4 tank of gas

Oleksii KWhat an overall underwhelming beginning. 1st reservation @ Shoreline moved to Lynnwood (banged up truck). Reservation moved to Lynnwood for a 10am pickup. There @ 9:30am and truck was not there (not returned the night before - no notice given to me/customer of complications). Told would be ~ 40 minutes out. Waited ~ 1.5 hours. Now, it wasn’t the employees fault. in fact, I gave them a $10 tip for their customer service. Went to the 3rd location. While this is a quaint market selling fruit, it is definitely not a typical U-Haul customer experience. Talked to manager and he promptly brought me the 26 foot truck. Oh, would I like to buy a jar of Spanish peaches? No thank you. Ok, move time is on… Of note the truck, even when loaded front end would bounce up and down on the I-5 freeway when going past 50 - very disturbing and somewhat dangerous. Upon returning, no one was at the U-Haul location. I called up the posted local customer service number and was instructed to park the truck in the back of the lot – not in front of the Mexican trailer restaurant! Let’s say the parking was tricky, tight and very unconventional. Talking to the manager I mentioned the truck bouncy house handling on the freeway. I was told all trucks do that and he’s been driving them since 19 years old…. Well, let’s say I’ve got a few years on that young man and driven lots of trucks and that is simply not true. Glad the move is done and will be possibly looking at some of your competitors.
Chad HThe owner added the “safemove damage” when I know I made sure it was off. It’s not even my signature on the first page, so he signed it himself. Please be careful when renting from Sunshine Market. The owner is such a fraud!! I’ve always read the reviews from before but gave him the benefit of the doubt. The van rear sensor wasn’t working so it kept reading that the rear door is opened, they warned me about it and I guess someone spilt paint in the van so they had this cover over it. I only used the van from 2pm to 3:30pm. Please take your own pictures and return it in the app. I let them do it and they put I returned the van at 5:45pm. Scandalous place !
PEARLY SNo one was there to help and I had to call the store. Once I finally got the keys, the guy came out and said someone spilled paint in the back and that it was still wet and but blankets in the back so it was to slide my furniture in and out on top of the blankets.
