The self-pickup function of U-Haul's rental app is a complete mess. I failed to pick up the vehicle three times on 7/20. I hope it can be improved as soon as possible.

The main issue is that this is an unattended location so check out and check in are done solely through the U-Haul app. Unfortunately the cell phone coverage in this location is not strong making the app experience challenging. Check out took almost 30 minutes and I was unable to fully complete check in when the app closed out after 20 minutes of struggling through the screens.
Ronald PI would say just inform customers that no one operates out of that building where you guys send the customers to, and make it easier to find the code in the email reservation
Bernard MThere was dog hair in the front seat. And this truck did not have cruise control. We had a long trip and cruise would have been nice. Didn’t realize this was a self checkin location. Had to call to get someone to come over, as the app was not going through.
