Even accounting for the issues surrounding covid-19 oh, it was extremely difficult 2 get a refund from the drop off location. And in fact I had to go through U-Haul corporate customer service in order to secure one. apparently, this particular business has a bad reputation in the area which, had I been aware of, I would have selected a different drop off location. In terms of U-Haul corporate themselves, I could not be more pleased with the response I received.GEORGE W.
The unit had bad wiper blades and the rear tires are almost to the tread wear indicators. They also show signs of dry rot. After I picked up the unit and got it on the highway it started to snow. The unit was all over the road and got stuck when I pulled over on the shoulder of the road and had trouble traversing the snow covered hilly areas.Barry H.

Trailer worked well except it leaked and made about 1/2 the boxes wet. I had to buy new boxes and repack to put it in storage at destination or everything would have gone mouldy.Allen B.

Reserved the truck with blankets, there were no moving pads. The rental agent wasn't there and got the keys from a service guy in the neighbouring business and talked to the agent over the phone. No walk through the truck, no confirmation on fuel level or any physical damages to the truck. Didn't sign anything.John H.

Don't charge people for equipment they never got!!! I got charged for a dolly. Marystown doesn't have them! What a rip off. Apparently your staff can't read because I already asked them to fix it and it's still on the bill. Big joke of you ask me.Donna H.
Improve the customer service. I paid 200 dollars for a trailer and the guy didn't leave the building. Had to hook up trailer and it was clean. Worst servoce ever. Seems i paid a lot of money for nothing. Ive uses u-haul for all my moving but this location is the worst.SHAUN T.
Location was closed and opened 4 hours late. No gas in truck, I had to purchase oil to add to the motor as there was nothing on the dip stick, no windshield washer fluid and the driver's side nozzle was broken.Mike W.
The service was great at Rugged Terrian, we was 15 minutes from dropping it off when the tire bust open and no spare to put on it, then trying to reach someone to explain the situation was an awful experience, on the phone way too long, we probably would of been there all night waiting for someone to come help us and it was getting late here in NL Thx Sheldon & Connie LockyerSheldon L.

There is very limited amount of trucks you can rent. We ordered a 15ft and ended up with a 26ft truck. No one contacted us about it until I called them. There is no guarantee that what you order is actually going to be there because if someone moves out of the community, like we did, another truck isn't there until someone moves in to the community. We couldn't get the truck we ordered, which cost us more on gas, as well as we couldn't get it on a earlier date because someone else had it out for the weekend. Over all it was a poor experience, a lot more stress added on top of the stress from just moving. This location needs a bigger selection of trucks.Shane F.

Quotes given to me when I booked the vehicle online were different from what I was charged when I went to pick up the vehicle. The UHaul insurance rate was increased by 50%. I have coverage on my own vehicle insurance for when I rent a vehicle that I do not own, yet I was not allowed to use it on the Uhaul vehicle.Brian W.

The agent was not available when I went to pick up my Uhaul and advised the company he waited until 3 pm for me to show up, then left to go. My contract was cancelled as as result of not picking up up between the hours of "10- 12" which I was not made aware by anyone of a specific pick up time. I had to drive a long distance to pick up this vehicle and wasn't in the area until I picked it up prior to closing. I then had to contact the 1800 number for assistance and luckily the one vehicle at the location was available. Should the agent have called to confirm I would be there before the location closed, this would have prevented the unnecessary miscommunication and cancelation of my contract.Perry N.
